Affinity Energy and Health Technology

Atlanta Growing Facility

Affinity Energy and Health’s state-of-the-art algae growing facility is based in Atlanta, Georgia USA, where a number of high-value algae strains are produced for supply to the global nutraceutical and aqua feed markets.

An estimated A$35m has been invested in plant technology, with extensive tests conducted over the last six years.

In May 2018, the Company signed a Research Agreement with Canadian-based Radient Technologies Inc. (TSXV: RTI) which is targeting production of high-value algae-based products for supply into the rapidly growing global nutraceutical market.

The facility produces six major algal species which represent over 95% of the global market:

  • Athrospira (Spirulina)
  • Chlorella
  • Dunaliella
  • Nannochloropsis
  • Haematococcus
  • Schizochytrium

Technology Overview

Affinity Energy and Health’s innovative process technologies covers for algae and cannabis harvesting, oil extraction, recovery of products and conversion to downstream products. Its proprietary technologies show significant increases in productivity, footprint reduction, and viability, compared to other technologies.

Affinity Energy and Health’s Atlanta facility uses AEB’s proprietary light systems including:

  • Direct Visible Light Energy Solar Collector
  • Indirect Light Energy Solar Collector

AEB’s solar lighting technology significantly reduces the Company’s operating cost base and is also applicable to AEB’s medicinal cannabis cultivation.
